BELOW ARE FEW SUGGESTIONS FOR YOUR NEEDS TO VENT THE PORTABLE AC THROUGH THE WALL.
PLEASE NOTE DEPENDING UPON YOUR ROOM SITUATION THESE MAY OR MAY NOT WORK IN YOUR CASE
Most of the portable AC manufacturers expect you to run the hose through the window or a sliding glass door, which is why they never built a walla connector.
But we have had many customer who have no other option but to ventthe hose through the wall or through the ceiling.

Option1. On the left you will see the example of dryer hose being vented through the wall. You would use the same procedure to vent the portable AC through the wall. Most of the portable AC's are anywhere from 4 -5 inches in diameter, similar to dryer vent hoses. With the traditional dryer hose connectors clamps (in the picture ) portable AC hose will stay securely connected until your disconnect it once the season is over. Simple mount the connector dock on the wall and attach the lock to the vent hose of portable AC. Join them together and twist slightly to securely lock in place. We DO NOT sell these connectors, but you can buy them locally from any hardward store like home depot or even walmart may carry it.
Option 2. Make a hole in the wall. Place the hose in that hole and run it all the way to the other end to make sure it is pointing outside. Once this is done you can spray exapanding foam in the hole around the gaps to completely seal the air gaps between the hose and the hole inside. Once the expanding foam dries you can use a sandpaper and give it a final finish and flatten the foam in straight line as the wall and paint it as your wall color. This way the hose will be vented out and your hole is sealed plus gives a final wall finish after the process. You can buy the expanding foam sprayer from any local hardwarde store for roughly $5.
Above are two of the few options available if you decide the vent through the hole.
For OUTDOOR finish you can choose any of the methods you see in the image on the left.
This completes the process of venting the hose outside. As far as |
